With a committed network of caring volunteers and foster homes, PAW helps animals in need, providing them with the support and care they truly deserve.
PAW places kittens from the TNR program into foster homes to be socialized. Foster caregivers play a vital role by providing a safe and nurturing environment where the kittens can grow and thrive. Through this compassionate effort, we reduce the number of stray feral cats and improve the lives of both the kittens and communities.
Frequently, we receive calls from individuals who can no longer care for their pets. PAW’s initial goal is to address any challenges to help keep the pet in its home. We fund training sessions with the owner and a PAW partner if behavior is the issue. We help with expenses such as pet food and veterinary care if that is the barrier to keeping a pet in its home.
In cases where rehoming becomes necessary, PAW ensures a smooth transition for both the pet and the new family. We conduct thorough interviews and home visits to ensure the best outcome, which is a forever home. We provide ongoing support and resources to help the new family and pet adjust and thrive.
Moreover, PAW actively engages with the community to raise awareness about responsible pet ownership and the importance of spaying and neutering. Through educational workshops and events, we can prevent the cycle of abandonment and give every animal a chance at a happy, healthy life.
Our volunteers are the heart of our organization. Their compassion inspires us all to work towards a future where every pet is cherished and no animal is left behind.
